Our family blog site?

Hi there,
Having lost our free webspace for our family history site. I am hoping we can use this blog to continue to share our RIGARLSFORD/CURANT family history' notes, news and photos etc.
But first I have to work out how it works and if we are able to add and share that knowledge using this blog. And above all, have some control over who can access your hard got research!

I dont need to go much further for you to realise that I have not got a clue about what I'm doing! Or how a blog really works and I'm learning from scratch!
So I hope you will overlook the odd cock-up or skew-wiff picture until I get to know how to use it!

I think it might be the case that as the 'setter upper' of this blog. Only I will be able to add to it?
Which if thats true, I will have ask you to email me a copy of the items you want to share or publish so I can add them to the Blog.
Also, I dont think that we can contact other members of the group via this blog as we were able to before?
I hope I'm wrong! And someone can hold my hand while I'm learning!
